Yogasleep started in 1962 with love and a dog bowl! Our founder, Jim Buckwalter, was a traveling salesman. His insomniac wife liked to travel with him, and she found the soothing lull of the air conditioner unit helped her get to sleep. Jim loved to tinker and got to work creating the very first sound machine that replicated the constant whirring noise of moving air with none of the disturbance of actual moving air. And thus, the Dohm was born!

You can play the Soundscene continuously or set the optional auto-shutoff sleep timer with three settings: 45m, 90m, or 8 hours, tailoring it to your bedtime or nap routine. The Soundscene masks noise that can disturb a sleeping baby or child, buffering disruption from barking dogs, loud siblings, and city sounds.
